Story
Falcon Artists takes my creative passion, savvy thinking and years of business relationships from Boom Chicago to the next level.
My projects and adventures share the clear, core guiding principle of improvisation: Yes And. Instead of focusing on what is not possible, I have an optimistic outlook on life and I strongly believe in a positive mindset. Let’s look at how we can make things happen, no matter how hard or challenging it might be. I always say Love Every Idea for a Minute. Don’t instinctually push them away, because in every crazy idea there is frequently a kernel of opportunity to build on.
Among my many responsibilities, I managed the careers of our cast. Boom Chicago launched the careers of many international superstars like Seth Meyers, Oscar winner Jordan Peele, Ike Barinholtz, Kay Cannon, Amber Ruffin and the founders and creators of Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly). We continue to scout talent in the US and UK for the Boom Chicago ensemble. The next generation of stars is on stage in Amsterdam right now!
I started Boom Chicago in 1993 with my business partners Andrew Moskos and Pep Rosenfeld, who both had just graduated from university and fell in love with Amsterdam. We run our theater complex on the Rozengracht, where we host comedians, produce our own improv productions and run a B4B operation that focuses on hosting, training and events.
In 2018 I started InterActing, a non-profit theater program for teenagers with autism. As a mother of two boys, one of whom is autistic, Aidan inspired me to start this non-profit foundation to help more children like my son, to become happy, independent adults. We use the principles from improvisation theater to help our young participants embrace the challenges and surprises of life with confidence and flexibility. In addition to positively impacting their daily lives, we also want to show the talent of people on the spectrum to create opportunities for them in the creative industry. We are now active in four Dutch cities.
In 2023, the tragic passing of Reiky de Valk, who had worked at Boom Chicago before his acting career lifted off, brought the issue of mental health among young actors urgently to my attention. Even loved, successful and seemingly happy, people need support in the creative industries.
These experiences led to my founding Falcon Artists in 2025.
Falcon Artists aims to take only a small roster of highly talented creatives to become a strong career coach for them. We carefully select the artists that we want to work with. We strive for personal attention, regular check-ins and quick communication. Moreover, Falcon Artists are not just there to negotiate for our talents. We are long term strategy partners, who invest time, brainpower, and attention into each artist. We believe in our talent, their growth potential, and their ability to impact this industry.
Team
Saskia has surrounded herself with people she’s been working with for quite some time. As a talent manager, she is supported by a team of amazing young creative professionals and an experienced publicist. Falcon Artists is also the only talent management agency that works with a mental coach!
Saskia Maas – Talent Manager, Founder & CEO
For more than 30 years, she has led the international, Amsterdam based comedy institution Boom Chicago. As CEO, she runs the venue on the Rozengracht and leads Boom Chicago for Business. For the latter, she produces strategic performances and projects around the world using humor to help companies connect with their employees, clients and customers.
Raised in Brabant, Saskia has a Masters Degree in Text Linguistics from Tilburg University. During her studies she joined ISEP, the international Student Exchange program that landed her a spot at Ball State University in Muncie Indiana, the alma mater of David Letterman. In the Netherlands, she completed an executive management program at Nyenrode Business University and learned the insights of design thinking at THNK, the Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership.
Falcon Artists fits Saskia’s focus on talent development and her desire to positively impact the lives of the people she cares for.

Natasja Wielandt – publicist
With over a decade of experience in the field and specializations in the startup, art, and culture scenes, she and her company focus on building the relationship between brand and audience. An eye for detail, attitude, and approach define the agency’s distinctive signature.

Anouk de Valk – Mental Coach
In a creative industry that focuses more and more on fame, money and success, the pressure is on and we feel highly responsible for making the right choices along the way. But your career isn’t a script with set outcomes. And things don’t always go your way.
As a senior consultant, coach, therapist, trainer, and workshop facilitator—and last but not least, as Reiky and Kymo’s mother— it’s her passion to offer (young) creatives support and guidance, with navigating their professional and personal life: mentally, emotionally physically and spiritually.
You have to do it yourself, but we’re in it together

Kymo de Valk – creative assistant
After the suicide of his brother, actor Reiky de Valk, Kymo started his own creative journey. Losing Reiky left a deep impact and acting became Kymo’s way to stay connected to his brother and carry his spirit forward. What started as a way to process grief grew into a true passion and devotion to the craft of storytelling.
As a young actor, Kymo was looking for guidance and representation to navigate this new industry. Since Saskia was already helping him with deals and contracts, Kymo suggested that she start her own representation company. He became involved, not only as one of the artists represented by the management, but also by sharing his vision throughout every step of the set-up.
The name Falcon was inspired by their family name, as Valk means Falcon in Dutch. Falcon was also the name of Reiky’s company. It felt right for Saskia, Anouk and Kymo to honor his vision and creativity in this way.

Juliana Mondadori – Executive Assistant
Juliana is passionate about helping people and that is one of the main reasons she studied Psychology. After working for several years in customer service, she believes that empathy and some tools from Psychology can make a change when working in a supportive role. Born in Brazil, she speaks fluent Portuguese and English, can read and understand Spanish and Italian and has been learning Dutch for several years (and having a Dutch husband helps!).
