Stacey Smith

Known for her explosive energy, sharp comedy, and powerhouse musical improv, Stacey Smith is a mainstage performer and Artistic Director at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. The creator of the acclaimed solo improvised musical “Stacejam,” Stacey has toured internationally with The Second City and shared the stage with comedy greats including Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, and Amber Ruffin.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Stacey’s career spans over a decade of performing, teaching, and producing comedy around the world – from Chicago to Europe’s biggest festivals. She’s also the founder of The Chicago Musical Improv Festival and a passionate advocate for women in comedy through her S.H.E. (Sisterhood Humor Empowerment) program.
